Code of Conduct
1. Consent and Respect:Always seek and respect consent. No means no. Do not touch anyone without their explicit permission. Respect personal boundaries at all times.2. Confidentiality:Respect the privacy of others. Do not disclose anyone’s identity or details about their actions outside of the facility.3. Cleanliness and Hygiene:Shower before entering common areas, including our pool, sauna, steam room or other shared facilities. Use the provided towels, and dispose of any waste properly. Clean up after yourself.4. Safer Sex Practices:The use of condoms and other protection for safer sex practices is strongly encouraged by Wet. Please dispose of used condoms in designated bins. Free condoms and lubricants have been provided through the venue and are also available at reception—use them.5. No Drugs or Alcohol:Bringing outside alcohol or illegal substances onto the premises is strictly prohibited. The use or possession of drugs and excessive alcohol consumption are not allowed and will be addressed by staff.6. No Harassment or Discrimination:Treat everyone with respect, regardless of race, body type, gender identity, or sexual orientation. Harassment or discrimination will not be tolerated.7. No Solicitation:Patrons are not allowed to solicit others for money or engage in any form of prostitution. This includes offering or requesting financial compensation for sexual activities.8. No Recording Devices:The use of cameras, smartphones, or any other recording equipment is strictly prohibited. Patrons must respect the privacy and confidentiality of others at all times.9. Bag Searches:As part of agreeing to enter the facility, patrons may be subject to searches of their bags or personal belongings. This measure is in place to ensure the safety and compliance with facility rules.10. Follow the Facility’s Rules:Adhere to all specific rules and guidelines set by the facility, including dress codes, areas where sexual activities are permitted, and hours of operation.11. Respect Shared Spaces:Keep noise levels appropriate, respect the facility’s property, and share amenities fairly.12. Health and Safety:Do not attend if you are feeling unwell or have symptoms of a communicable disease. Practice good personal hygiene.13. Seek Assistance if Needed:If you encounter any problems or feel uncomfortable, seek help from the staff. They are there to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort.Privacy and Surveillance1. Use of CCTV and Recording:The facility employs CCTV surveillance for safety and security purposes. By entering the premises, patrons consent to being recorded on these systems. The footage is used to ensure the safety and security of all patrons and staff.2. Collection of Personal Information:The facility may collect personal information in accordance with Scantek Solutions Pty Ltd’s privacy policy. This may include identification information, contact details, and other relevant data necessary for entry and security purposes.3. Data Protection:All personal information collected is handled in compliance with applicable privacy laws and the Scantek Solutions Pty Ltd privacy policy. This information will not be shared with unauthorized parties and is used solely for the purposes of security and facility operations.Removal from the VenueFailure to adhere to these codes of conduct may result in immediate removal from the facility. The staff reserves the right to remove any patron who:– Disrespects others’ boundaries or does not obtain proper consent.– Engages in harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior.– Violates the facility’s rules, including those regarding drugs, alcohol, and safer sex practices.– Solicits other patrons for money or engages in prostitution.– Brings outside alcohol, illegal substances, or prohibited items onto the premises.– Uses or attempts to use recording devices.– Refuses to comply with bag searches or other security measures.– Fails to maintain personal hygiene or cleanliness standards.– Causes disturbances or damage to the facility.In cases of severe or repeated violations, patrons may be banned from returning to the venue. The safety and comfort of all patrons are the top priority.Liability WaiverBy entering the facility, patrons acknowledge and agree to the following:– Assumption of Risk:Patrons assume all risks associated with the use of the facility, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, theft, or damage to personal property.– Waiver of Liability:The facility, its owners, employees, and agents shall not be held liable for any injuries, damages, theft, or destruction of property that may occur on the premises.– Indemnification:Patrons agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the facility and its representatives from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action, now or in the future, arising out of or related to their use of the facility, including any injury or damage resulting from the negligence of the facility or its staff.By entering the facility, patrons agree to these terms and conditions, understanding that they are legally binding. The facility reserves the right to modify these rules and guidelines at any time.
Conditions of Entry
NOTICE TO ALL PATRONS
It is a condition of entry to WET ON WELLINGTON (WOW) that patrons agree:
- Not to bring into WOW any Alcohol, Drugs or Food.
- Not to make any recording or take any photograph of any person without the authorisation of that person
- Every patron must abide by the WOW Code of Conduct.
- Not to engage in any conduct, act towards or speak to any other patron, staff member or other person which offends, insults, humiliates, intimidates, threatens, disparages or vilifies any other person on the basis of that other person’s race, religion, colour, descent or national or ethnic origin or sexual preference.
- That no alcohol, glass, cans, firearms, weapons, fireworks or other items deemed or considered dangerous may be brought into WOW.
- That entry to the WOW is only permitted to patrons who agree to be searched (bags, clothes or other possessions) on entry.
- That all patrons consent to the recording of their likeness and/or voice by any means (including but not limited to audio and visual recordings by CCTV cameras.
- That they are admitted to the Venue at their own risk.
- That they are required to take appropriate care for their sun protection and hydration.
- That a patron who is deemed to be affected by the consumption of alcohol or drugs may, in WOW sole discretion, be refused entry to, or ejected from, the venue by a member of staff, the Victoria Police or Liquor Licensing.
- That WOW shall not be liable for any loss (theft) or injury suffered by the patron.
- Not to do any of the following in the Venue or around:
(a) Post, stick or place or attempt to post, stick or place any poster, placard, bill, banner, print, paper or any advertising material in, around or on any building structure.
(b) Misuse, deface, damage, remove from WOW or tamper with or attempt to misuse, deface, damage, remove from WOW or tamper with any part of the building, furniture or fixtures.
(c) Deposit litter, except in a receptacle provided for that purpose.
(d) Throw or attempt to throw any bottle, projectile or other object.
(e) Disrupt, interrupt or behave in any manner that may disrupt or interrupt any other patrons on their enjoyment.
(f) Use indecent or obscene language or threatening or Insulting words, or otherwise behave in a threatening, abusive, riotous, indecent or insulting manner.
(g) Interfere with, obstruct or hinder WOW employees, agents or contractors in the exercise of their powers, functions or duties.
(h) Solicit money or donations from patrons.
(i) Smoke in areas within WOW nominated as non-smoking which is ALL indoor areas.
- Without prejudice to any other rights which WOW may have, any patron that contravenes any of these terms and conditions may:
(a) be refused entry to the Venue.
(b) be ejected from the Venue by an authorised person.
(c) be prohibited from entering WOW for a nominated period.
(d) have legal action taken against them in connection with such matters.
- that, if entry of the patron to the Venue is ejected for any reason in accordance with these Conditions, no refund will be paid.
- Non consensual sex is not permitted.
